From its conception, the Get Smart site was supposed to have self assessments for visitors to better understand and review their symptoms and habits with experts. To stand out from most other informational websites, they wanted to include more than just downloadable pdfs and checklists- hence the two interactive self-assessment forms. While most web-site forms are built to be submitted to a database or email, this form was built to be printed (from desktop devices) and/or emailed to one’s self instead of a salesperson or contact list database. Additionally, because of the duality in site design, both assessments would each need to be managed from one aspx file for both desktop and mobile.
