Adding Responsive Behavior to an HTML5 Video Player

The MediaElementJS video player has proven to be one of my preferred video players.  It works across multiple browsers and has reliable failback behavior for older browsers such as IE7, IE8, and FireFox 3.x. Due to time constraints when I built the ForteLeadership site, I installed the module with only the basic configuration options. During this build however, I was granted with the time to work further with the module and customize it to have a responsive behavior.  Wrapped with a container div, the videoplayer module’s predefined aspect ratio setting (in pixels) was changed to a percentage relative size that would allow the entire video player and poster to scale as the browser or device viewport changed.
